About Katlina Siberians Cats
Welcome to Katlina Siberian Cats. We are a small family cattery, located outside of Dallas, Texas. All of our cats and kittens are born and bred in our home, right here in Texas in the United States of America. We specialize in breeding beautiful hypoallergenic Siberian cats.
If you're coming in from out of town, we're ready to coordinate and meet with you at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DFW). We routinely meet families from out-of-state, especially those from California and Florida. If you've been following us on this page or on Facebook for any length of time, you've seen how we hand-raise these beautiful Siberian kittens in our home. There's a real reason for this - and it will make a huge difference to you and your family. Exposing each kitten to new people, animals and experiences helps them develop a foundation for a lifetime of positive interactions and behaviors. Kittens that don't experience this rigorous socialization may develop agreession and shy away from human interaction. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, the key socialization period for kittens occurs between 3 and 9 weeks of age. That's exactly the time that your kitten is being handled by us and our children, being groomed, being introduced to our dog, to the vacuum and to all of the hustle and bustle of a normal household. By the time that you take them home, your kitten has received all of the love and attention that will set you both up for a lifetime cuddles and wonderful memories. If allergies are a concern and you're looking for a Siberian kitten to join your family, we recommend that you complete allergy testing early (we have a kit available). Watch our site and find out what color patterns call to you. Follow us on Facebook - we post notifications there when the website gets updated. And check out our sister site, Perfection Siberians, for color point Siberians. Raised, with love and care, in our home and with our children

When we decided to adopt a kitten, we spent countless hours researching the perfect cat. We were looking for a loving disposition, health, loyalty and intelligence. We finally decided on a Siberian and adopted our first kitten, Alexi. We fell instantly in love with him.
It was only when a family member who has a severe allergy to cats was visiting that we discovered our kitten was hypoallergenic. It did not take us very long to decide that we needed a friend for Alexi and for our allergic family member to decide to adopt one for herself. A little later, we started discussing the possibility of breeding these beautiful cats for others to enjoy. To this day, we have never regretted our decision to breed and raise Siberian kittens in our home. Our kittens are hand raised in a loving environment and are well socialized with people (both adults and children), other cats and dogs. By the time they are old enough to leave our home, they are well adjusted and accustomed to being treated as one of the family. Our Siberian cats have personality plus! They are wonderfully affectionate and not the least bit shy. In fact, they will greet your visitors at the door and expect to be acknowledged and petted just like a dog. They have a triple purr, and unlike other breeds, they speak with a chirping sound. They love children, playing, warm laps and endless amounts of cuddling. |
